After a career in the coal mining industry and building custom longbows and recurves for twenty five years, I am now focusing my time and energy building Maloof inspired rocking chairs. My wood of choice is Texas grown mesquite, which is an excellent wood for building exquisite furniture. I personally choose each piece of wood from the finest available for grain and color match and then hand craft it into an heirloom piece of furniture. I make each chair by hand, one at a time to ensure the highest quality. I focus on every detail of the building process for quality and beauty and at completion, each chair is hand rubbed with an oil finish that brings out the natural beauty of the finest wood. My chairs are an extremely comfortable work of art that you and your family will enjoy for many generations.
